Enclosed is the 9/26/94 release of the Jaguar JPEG tools.

There are three archives altogether:

	JAGPEG.ZIP, TGAJPC.ZIP, and TGAJST.ZIP

The JAGPEG.ZIP archive contains the decompression code, sample program
and sample pictures.

The TGAJPC.ZIP archive contains the PC/MSDOS specific tools and
utilities.

The TGAJST.ZIP archive contains the Atari/TOS specific tools and
utilities.

Files in the JAGUAR\BIN directory:

   LOCATE.EXE      LOCATE utility to modify DEHUFF.DAT (see DEJAG.TXT)

The following programs are called by TGAJAG (not by you directly).

   JSPLIT.EXE      Creates three components of the TGA
   JSPLITH.EXE
   JSPLITQ.EXE

   JQUAD.EXE       Performs special processing for QUAD subsampling

   JCJPEG.EXE      Does JPEG compression on each component

   JSTRIP.EXE      Strips JFIF info from each compnent

   JMAKEQ.EXE      Creates the DQ??.ABS file

   JMERGE.EXE      Merges the processed components into the final .JAG file
   JMERGEH.EXE

Filename extensions for the Atari versions are ".TTP" instead of ".EXE".
