            QuickCIS, the CompuServe online automator
            -----------------------------------------

This text file is designed to help you choose whether or not the
program QuickCIS (filename QWKCIS.TOS) would be of any use to you, as
a CompuServe subscriber.

1) Do you call CIS more than once per week, or would you like to be
able to?

2) Does your phone company have discounted rates at certain times of
the evening, which would make your online time cheaper?

3) Are there more areas of CompuServe than you can reasonably attempt
to visit on a regular basis - but you wish you could?

4) Do you think that there are many programs, utilities, applications,
etc, available on CompuServe that you are not even aware of due to
lack of time to search for them?

5) Do you sometimes find files on CIS that would be useful, but hate
the idea of sitting in front of the screen downloading them all?

6) Do you have problems using your ST (or for that matter your TV,
audio equipment, wash machine or car), and wish you had a ready source
of useful information from experienced users?

7) Do you regularly send FAX, MCI MAIL, or USENET mail?

8) Have you had any reason to complain or rave to a hardware or
software supplier about their product?

If you have answered YES to any of the above, then QuickCIS can
help you better use your time on CompuServe.

QuickCIS can be set up easily to call CompuServe for you,
checking for any Compuserve Mail (email), and travelling to as many as
six CIS forums. While in each forum, QuickCIS will read messages
(there are dozens of ways to limit which messages are read), and go
into up to 7 Libraries within the forum. Within the Libraries,
QuickCIS can capture a list of newly uploaded files, and download
those files you have previously tagged. Once all chosen forums and
libraries have been visited, QuickCIS logs off.

At your leisure, you can then read all the data that QuickCIS
captured for you. You can use the built-in editor to reply to
EasyPlex and forum messages, or even initiate new topics. After each
forum message section has been read, the file descriptions from
visited libraries are displayed. If you find a file you like, you can
tag it for downloading.

Messages you create are posted next time you call. Tagged files
are downloaded at the same time.

If you currently spend what you consider to be too much time on
CompuServe, you will find that doing the same tasks costs you less
than 10 minutes of online time per day, using QuickCIS. Or, if you
don't mind the time you are currently taking online, you can spend the
same amount of online time doing much MORE, with the help of QuickCIS.

Additional features: QuickCIS can make a delayed call, at a time
you set, to take advantage of low phone rates. QuickCIS can store
multiple configurations, allowing you to pick and choose your
destinations for each call. QuickCIS can create a library of previous
messages, so that you can store them for later reference - either
store all of them, or pick and choose which messages get stored to
your library. QuickCIS works at 300/1200/2400 or 9600bps, and on
color, mono, and oversize monitors. Current versions of QuickCIS
are freeware. Doesn't cost you a penny, tosave bucks on CompuServe.
