GEMBench is Shareware which means that if you like the program
and intend to use it you are required to pay for it. The fee is
minimal and is set at 5.00. If you live outside the UK you may send
foreign currency. Germany - 15.00 DM, US - $10.00.
I normally use foreign money to register software in those
countries.

=====================================================================

If you are already registered or your name appears on my thanks
list at the end of the GEMBENCH.TXT file, you will still have to
fill the registration form and send it to me. You are not
required to pay again, but I will need your details again so that
I can give you a User Key.

=====================================================================

How to register GEMBench
------------------------

Run GEMBench and select the Registration menu item from the
GEMBench window menu. The entry is under Options.

Fill in your details in the registration dialog. The User Key
field should be left empty. When you are satisfied click on
Register. This will save a small file called GEMBENCH.REG to your
disk.

(You do not have to include your telephone number)

You can send me the file on a disk, print it out and send me
that, or email it to me via the internet at
ogal@cix.compulink.co.uk

I will then issue you a User Key which is a number you can enter
into the User Key field. Once this is entered, GEMBench will know
you are registered and will display your name in the About
dialog. There is no need to re-register if you update GEMBench at
a later date.

====================================================================
The file GEMBENCH.REG should not be deleted, edited or modified
in any way. You are free to give copies of GEMBench away as long
as you DO NOT include the file GEMBENCH.REG. This file is your
private 'protection dongle'.
When updating to a new version of GEMBENCH, make sure you keep
this file. Future versions of GEMBench will look for this file to
see if you are registered.
