
YO! Welcome to 93 G'!

Another article done by Alpina/TPN. And 
will once again present you the  latest 
Rap stuff.  I promise you that 93  will 
be  a  great  year  for  all  Rap  fans 
because there will be much new releases 
by  many famous bands.  The new  Ice  T 
Album  is hopefully released  when  you 
read  this (yes,  it is and it's great) 
Public  Enemy    will  hopefully   also 
release  a new one this year.  I  don't 
know  the exact date,  but I  think  it 
will  be  at   the  end of  this  year.  
There's also a new Album by RUN DMC and 
it will  be  released  during  the next
weeks. Perhaps there will also be a new 
Album by The Niggaz with Attitude (NWA)
because they want to do comeback  under 
their old and famous name. I also heard 
rumors  about new releases  by  Cypress 
Hill and House of Pain but I don't know 
something special. 

This  time there are no  stars  anymore 
like  in  Amazine  3  because  I'm  not 
buying  very bad stuff.  If  you  wanna 
know  if one Album is totally great  or 
perhaps  not  so great  then  read  the 
article.  I  think many of you did  not 
get  the Albums I tested  here  because 
they are all imported from the  staates 
and  not  all  are  released  here   in 
Europe.  So if you don't know where  to 
get  all  this stuff  then  contact  me

enough talk better let's start  because 
there are many Albums this time:


MC SERCH: RETURN OF THE PRODUCT

It's  his first solo  release.  He  was 
fomerly  of the well-known  and  famous 
3RD BASS.  But they split up and now he 
has released this cool one.  The  style 
is like the 3rd Bass one.  There are 11 
tunes on this CD.  "Here it comes"  and 
the  track called "Back to  the  Grill" 
which he has done together with  Chubb 
Rock   and  Red  Hot  Lover  Tone   are 
also released on Video (always watch Yo 
MTV  Raps!!!).  Mc Serch is in his  own 
words  "A product of  the  environment" 
because  he's not black but in  America 
are  also many poor white  people.  But 
he's  fighting for everyone. His lyrics 
are  with a political message  and  not 
bullshit like many other sucker Mc's (I 
especially   mean  the best  Rapper  on 
earth: Marky Mark... har har har). This 
thing  is worse the price because  it's 
very good, so: buy it!!!

DA LENCH MOB: GUERILLAS IN THA MIST

Who's "Da Lench Mob"? you may ask. It's 
a  new  crew from  the  Westcoast.  The 
members are T-Bone,  J-Dee and  Shorty. 
And this Album is fully produced by the 
one  and only Ice Cube and the  company 
who   released  this  thing  is   Steet 
Knowledge:  The  owner of this  company 
is,  you guessed it,  the one and  only 
Ice  Cube.  "We are  against  everybody 
who is against us" they say. One of the 
LAPD-Cops  called  Rodney  King  as  an 
Guerilla in the mist.  Now Da Lench Mob 
are lynching back!  The first Track  on 
the   Album  (Capital   Punishment   in 
America) is about the different  death-
techniques  the countries use  and  how 
much  people are waiting for  death  in 
the jails in the USA. All the tunes are 
really cool.  If you like Ice Cube  and 
if you like political Gangsta-Rap  then 
you have to buy it!

PARIS: SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY

Yes, Paris strikes back with his second 
Album.  He is one of the hardest acting 
political  Rapper  at  all.  His  track 
"Bush  Killa" shows that  very  strong. 
"The  Declaration of  Independence"  by 
Paris:  "...We hold these truths to  be 
self-evident,  that all men are created 
equal,  that they are endowed by  their 
Creator   with   certain    unalienable 
Rights,  that  among  these  are  Life, 
liberty  and  the  pursit of Happiness.
That    to   secure    these    rights, 
Governments  are instituted among  men, 
deriving  teir  just  powers  from  the 
consent of the governd.
That  whenever any Form  of  Government 
becomes destructive of these  ends,  it 
is the Right of the people to alter  or 
to  abolish it,  and to  institute  new 
Government,  laying  its foundation  on 
the   principles  and  organizing   its 
powers  in such form,as to  them  shall 
seem most likely to effect their  Safty 
and Happiness....
He has really dope beats. OK some ideas 
are  from  his  first  Album  and  some 
are from Ice Cube but it sounds  really 
great.

REDMAN: WHUT? THEE ALBUM

It  the  first release by  Redman  from 
EPMD's "Hit Squad" family. There are 21 
Tracks  on this Album,  but  also  very 
short  ones.   The  complete  Album  is 
produced by Erick Sermon of EPMD. "Blow 
your Mind" is the first one released as 
a Video.  Also "Time 4 some Aksion"  is 
released as an Video and it also was in 
the charts. I like this track very well 
because it's hard and loud, it's simply 
great.  But not only this one is  great 
the  whole Album is it and  it  doesn't 
wonder  because EMPD and the Hit  Squad 
always stands for high quality products 
and Redman is such one!



DIGABLE PLANETS: REACHIN'

The Digable Planets are a new group and 
Reachin'  is their  first  Album.  They 
have 3 members and they are  Butterfly, 
which produced the whole Album,  Doddle 
Bug and Lady Bug,  the female member of 
the Planets.  There are 14 tracks. They 
have  that  jazzy  style.   It   sounds 
something like "A Tribe called  Quest". 
The female member is bringing a  really 
cool  touch  in the  music. "Rebith  of 
slick"  is  the  tune  witch  is   also 
released on video.  It was over 5 weeks 
in the Rap-charts.  It's a really  good 
one   featuring  a  heavy  jazz   bass. 
Another  track  is  called  "Pacifics". 
It's  the  soundtrack  to  the   motion 
picture  "New York is  Red  Hot".  This 
Album  is really great!

2 PAC: STRICTLY 4 MY NIGGAZ

2  Pac  strikes back  with  his  second 
Album. After the successful "2Pacalypse 
now"  it's  time  for "Strictly for  my 
Niggaz".  There are 16 tracks.  One  of 
them  is called "Holler if ya here  me" 
and it was number 10 in the  Rap-charts 
last week.  On the Album there are many 
Guest-Rapper  in the  different  tunes. 
"Last Wordz" is together with Ice T and 
Ice  Cube.  "Peep Game" is with  Deadly 
Threat.    "I   get   around"   Digital 
Underground is with him and on the last 
one "5  Deadly Venomz"  he  is  rapping 
together  with  Treach  of  Naughty  by 
Nature and Apache.  So you see,  if you 
buy  this great Album you are not  only 
buying 2 PAC.

APACHE: APACHE AIN'T SHIT

This  is Apaches  first  release.  This 
Album   includes   the   track   called 
"Gangsta  Bitch"  This track  was  very 
high  in the charts because  it's  very 
good. Bitch is not meaned negativ. It's 
meaned in a very friendly way. He wants 
a girl who is standing behind him in  a 
strong way. There are 14 cool tracks on 
this  Album  and all of them  are  very 
nice.

NAUGHTY BY NATURE: 19 NAUGHTY III

This Album is the second one.  They got 
very  well known with their  first  OPP 
Album.  It was sold very very well.  So 
this is their second product.  "Hip Hop 
Hooray"  is  the track  with  the  most 
succes till now.  It was number one  in 
the  Rap-charts  the  last  weeks.  The  
video is good and this is because it is 
directed  by the famous Spike  Lee  who 
also directed "Do the Right thing"  and 
his actual movie is "Malcom X". On this 
Album  there are 14 other tracks and  I 
think  many of them can bring the  same 
success  when they release a  Video.  I 
think  the  3 guys will  have  a  great 
future  because this is of  course  not 
their last Album. They now have also an 
own  Company where they  release  there 
own  clothing  collections. Yeahh  cool 
shirts,  jackets and caps and very good 
music!

LL COOL J: 14 SHOTS TO THE DOME

Uncle  L.  is back!  Yes,  and he comes 
along       with       his        fifth 
Album!! He is really  a legend  in  the 
Rap  buisness.  His latest  product  is 
simply called 14 Shots to Dome  because 
this  Album have 14 Tracks on  it.  The 
first  one  "How  I'm Comin'  "  is  of 
course  in the Charts and not  only  in 
the US Rap-charts also he is in the  UK 
charts  with this great piece  of  art. 
But that's not very amazing because  LL 
Cool  J is one of  the  successfulliest 
Rap-artist at all!  All the tracks  are 
in  a very high quality  (as  allways). 
The   last  track  ("Crossroads")   for 
example  features a complete  orchestra 
with violins,  cellos,  a harp,  french 
horns and many more. It's simply great!
He's right when he say:  "Thank you God 
for   helping   me   complete   another 
mission"  Your  mission is now  to  buy 
this CD!!

ICE T: HOME INVASION

From the legend on the Eastcoast to the 
living  legend in Rap buisness  on  the 
Westcoast  and  it is of course  Ice  T 
with  his long awaited "Home  Invasion" 
After  he  was fired by Warner  he  has 
released his fifth Album under his  own 
Record     Company    called     "Rhyme 
Syndicate".  With this Album he is also 
back  in the Rap scene because  he  has 
also done that "Body Count" stuff  with 
the well known "Copkilla".  But  anyway 
"Home  Invasion"  is a real  Rap  Album 
with  19 tracks on it.  All the  tracks 
are produced by the master himself with 
help by DJ Aladdin and some other ones. 
"Gotta Lotta Love" which is released on 
Video  and  which is in the  charts  of 
course is produced by Ice T and  Donald 
D.,   also  a  Rap  Artist  and   Rhyme 
Syndicate  member.   Track  number  15, 
"Depths  of Hell" is a tunes  which  is 
used for "Trespass", the movie with Ice 
T  and  Ice  Cube which  is  coming  to 
Europe  very soon!  Ice T's message  in 
this  Album is to stop  the  Gang-Wars: 
"Peace  to all L.A.  gangs we  are  all 
brothers,  we can live together.  Death 
is no answer. Please chill!!! ... Don't 
be a sucka,  no one lives in the ghetto 
by  choice.  Go to school,  build  your 
brain. ESCAPE FROM THE KILLING FIELDS!"
He's promoting the peace in the ghetto.
And "the war is over", Crips and Bloods 
holding their hands.  I think Ice T  is 
really the man who has brought Peace to 
South Central and not the sentence that   
2 Cops who have beaten down Rodney King 
are guilty. At least an information for 
all  Body Count fans.  The  new  Album: 
"Born Dead" is coming  soon,  too.  But 
first buy "Home Invasion"!!
