Welcome to Championship Manager '94 - end of season edition.

This was one of the last commercially available games for the ST and I never
saw any version of it doing the rounds ( a good game deserves to be bought !-
ie F1GP or Mega Lo Mania ).

Anyways it was ( is ) one of the most addictive games ever released - on any
format. If you didn't own it already - shame on you !

In fact, if you like it, go out and buy Championship Manager 2 for the PC -
it's just out for Christmas and all the stats have been updated and there are
loads of extra options guaranteed to keep all budding young Stattos and
Shearers alike hooked until Christmas 2000 - not many games can boast that !

A couple of words about pacifist compatibility:
-on pacifist, the ad screen ( which takes 31.81 secs to clear on an ST )
takes considerably longer to clear ( about 1min 30 ) - however the game as
a whole is much quicker than if you were running it off an ST. I have put
a hard disk installer onto Disk 1 - this works on the ST but I don't know
if it works with pacifist - theoretically speaking and if so then Bully coz
that means you can save games !

-Pressing Space during matches speeds matches up on the ST , but it doesn't
appear to work on pacifist so don't bother trying.

-I put the codes on the background screen and although 1 or 2 codes are
covered up by writing, you get 3 attempts so you will be able to read at
least one code that you need and that is all that is necessary.

-if you moan coz I removed the background pic - DON'T - the original
background pic was a crap 2 colour outline of 3 different cups job and
was very sad indeed in comparison to the Amiga & PC with their digitised
  pics !

-finally, don't alter anything on these disks please - if you want to put
a new background pic in or you want to hack out the codes for good, use a
backup of your own original copy. If you don't have the original, then buy
C.M. 2 for the PC - I'm sure this alleviates any copyright restrictions
on the ST version. If you don't have either then you shouldn't have this -
and no excuses coz like I said Championship Manager 2 just came out and
it really isn't expensive - this is just for those who had the game but
want it to run at a (much) quicker pace or have lost the instruction book
with the codes or who want to run the game quicker from a saved game with
a team built up over 6 or 7 seasons so up-to-date stats wouldn't mattter
  to them anyway.

See Ya Later !
