Diamond Edge V1.03 Patch Program Instructions
                           (C)1993 Robert D. Luneski

Greetings,

To upgrade your Diamond Edge V1.02 to V1.03 you need to do
the following things:

1) Insure that there is at least 175K free space on the disk you perform the
upgrade on. We suggest you upgrade a backup copy on your harddisk.

2) The version of EDGE.PRG and EDGE.RSC you want to upgrade must reside
in the same directory as DEPATCH.PRG is run from. You must leave the
program named EDGE.PRG and resource file named EDGE.RSC, the patch
program will rename them for you.

3) You must have the V102_103.DAT and V103.RSC in the same directory
   as EDGE.PRG, EDGE.RSC, and EDGE.PRG.

4) Run DEPATCH.PRG and enjoy your new version of Diamond Edge.

I you have any problems upgrading, please send e-mail to ORA.TECH or call
(503) 620-4919 or FAX (530) 624-2940

Enjoy Diamond Edge V1.03

Bob Luneski

Version 1.03 Released on February 14, 1993
   * Lost Clusters are now saved in individual files for each distinguishable
FAT chain. This simplifies the identification and recovery process.

   * Installing new partition information on an auto boot disk no longer
     disables the autoboot driver.

   * Only opens a 640x480 movable window on big screen monitors.

   * Fixes bug in Disk Medic when attempting to fix a certain kind of rare
and severe disk directory corruption. Disk Medic incorrectly reported
thousands of duplicate files and failed to correctly fix the corruption.

   * Screen redraw problems on TT's with greater than 8 megabytes of memory
     eliminated.

Version 1.02 Released on December 12, 1992
   * Fixed RESET function in the Hard Disk Partitoning menu for TT's with
TT ram and devices on the ACSI bus, and for Non-native SCSI devices
such as older MFM drives attached to a SCSI to MFM adapter.
   * Alternate Partition types, such as Spectre OOP and ACK, are no
longer reset to GEM or BGM when the the Recalculate function is
      used in HD partitioning.
   * Correctly eliminates old partition information when reducing the number
      of partitions.
   * Does not allow undeleting a file with the same name as a file already
     existing in that directory.
   * Missing mouse pointer in some file selector situations, now correctly
     displayed.

Version 1.01 Released on October 25, 1992
   * "Mouse Droppings" eliminated when creating a validation file
   * Able to create validation file for a floppy
   * Correctly identifies the total disk capacity in the Hard Disk
Partitoning for TT's with TT ram and devices on the ACSI bus, and for
Non-native SCSI devices such as older MFM drives attached to a SCSI to
      MFM adapter.
