Chagall Reference  Zoom                    12.5.93
==================================================

   Chagall can display any picture with a zoom
   ratio between 100 and 3200%.

   Switching between different magnifications for
   the current picture is done with the keys

   	 <1> (100%) to
   	 <0> (1000%)

   of the main keyboard (top line).

   Alternatively you can use the keys

    <+> and <->

   of the main keyboard to double and halve the
   enlargement respectively. In this way you can
   achieve enlargement ratios in excess of 1000%.

   If the mouse cursor is in the current window,
   then the mouse position will be taken as the
   centre of the new display.

   Thanks to this you can also 'wander around' the
   picture quickly: Point the mouse cursor at the part
   of the picture you would like to see as the new
   centre and press the key that corresponds to the
   current zoom magnification. Through this the selected
   picture point becomes the new centre.
