Chagall Reference Restore <Undo> & Adopt <Space> 12.5.93
==========================================================

With the 'Restore'-function you can reverse any accidental
or erroneous changes you have made to a picture.

Chagall possesses a variable 'Undo' mechanism:

Alterations to the picture will only be transferred
to the Undo-buffer (adopted) after you have pressed
the <Space> bar. In this way you can decide for
yourself whether you want to adopt any successful
   changes or not.

To reverse any alterations, press the <Undo> key.

On request Chagall will create an Undo-buffer
automatically when loading or creating a picture
to which the original version of the picture will
be copied. For this activate the 'Create Undo-buffer
automatically' field in the 'Global.....\OPTIONS\GLOBAL' dialog box
   in the 'Options..\OPTIONS\OPTIONS' menu.

With a further field in the same dialog box you can
select that the picture is swapped with the Undo-buffer
rather than overwriting the buffer. This permits you to
compare any changes you have made with the original.
