Chagall Reference Turn block 12.5.93
===============================================

Turning is one of Chagall's special strengths:

Chagall achieves excellent results with freely
definable turning angles. You can turn a
picture or a cut out block through any desired
angle, which can be defined in the following
dialog to an accuracy of two decimal places:
You can set the angle either by choosing one
of the customary steps (90, 180 or 270 degrees)
or also select the angle by using the arrows
or by manually inputting the value. In many
cases, however, it is more useful to be able
to select the angle directly by reference to
   marked points in the picture:

Chagall offers the 'Define' function for this
purpose. If you select this Chagall will
automatically change over to the picture window
where you can draw in the angle. To do this,
first set the turning-point with a click.

Now draw a start-line with the mouse and fix
it with a click and then finally move the mouse
to the end-point to which the start-line is to be
   turned and click again.

For turning blocks you can set the Effective rangeFUNCTION.
