Keyboard functions of the DBE Tracker

Numeric Pad:

 -with no function keys: it sets the hexa-unit of the sample number
  (use '0' and '.' to sub/add $10)
 -with control: toggle (on/off) the corresponding voice
 -with contol+shift: the same but with voice +$10


Cursor pad:
 HELP to decrease octave
 UNDO to increase octave
 Insert to insert a line in the current column
 Up to go to previous line
 Down to go to the net line
 Left to move the edit cursor left
 Right to move th it cursor right
 sh+Left: go to next pattern
 sh+Right: go to previous pattern
 sh+Up: climb 16 lines
 sh+Down: get down of 16 lines
 ctrl+Left: next position
 ctrl+Right: previous position
 ctrl+Up  \ change
 ctrl+Down/ colours


Function keys:
 F1: block start    shift+F1: insert (not finished)
 F2: block end      shift+F2: block affect (look at the block menu)
 F3: cut            shift+F3: block on (look at the block menu)
 F4: copy           shift+F4: block with (look at the block menu)
 F5: paste          shift+F5: transp affect (look at the block menu)
 F6: clear          shift+F6: transp with (look at the block menu)
It is possible to keep in memory 4 lines number:
 F7:  go to 1st one   shift+F7:  set the 1st one
 F8:  go to 2nd one   shift+F7:  set the 2nd one
 F9:  go to 3rd one   shift+F7:  set the 3rd one
 F10: go to 4th one   shift+F10: set the 4th one


Main keyboard:
  Two octaves are accessible:
 the first begins near the < key and the 2nd near the TAB key
 (I don't give the letter because it depends on your country)

 The keys 0-9 + A-F are used to enter a number if you are not in a note
field. With control it sets the edit-step.

 The TAB key is used to go to the next column. With shift you go to the
previous column

 Backspace clears the field under the cursor. With shift: kill the entry.

 Delete remove one line in the current column

 Return plays the current line

 Caps Lock launch the replay in PLAY mode. With shift: toggle the PATTERN
mode.

 Space stop replay or toggle EDIT mode if already stopped. With shift
toggle EDIT whatever the replay mode is.

Pattern editor:

 Alt+S : Calls sample editor
 Alt+D : Calls fileselector
 Alt+B : Calls BLOCK menu
 Alt+P : Calls PREFS menu
 Alt+V : Calls small SWAP V. menu
 Alt+M : Calls MIDI menu (not available)
 Alt+C : Calls clear menu
 Ctrl+M: Toggles multiedit mode
 Sh+Alt+V: Calls extended SWAP V. menu

Sample editor:

 Ctrl+N : Compute maximal fading rate (NORM)
 Ctrl+F : Applies fading (FADE)
 Ctrl+I : Zoom in
 Ctrl+O : Zoom out

Fileselector:

 Ctrl+L : Load selected file
 (with Alt, force last selected format recognition)
 Ctrl+S : Save file (last selected format)
 Ctrl+N : Enter Filename manually (files only !)
 Sh+letter : Go to first file beggining with this letter
 Sh+Ctrl+letter: idem for directories
 Sh+Alt+letter: change drive
 Sh+up/down: scroll files window
 Sh+Ctl+up/down: scroll directories window
 Sh+BackSpace: exit current directory
 Sh+Return: Select first item of files window
 Sh+Ctrl+Return: Open first item in directories window
