                   **** GemMOD Player ****

GemMOD is GEM player for *.MOD files GemMOD support AVSERVER
protocol, so u can just double click on MOD files, or drag them to
GemMOD window or GemMOD Taskbar button (Jo Skarstein's Taskbar) and
they will load automaticaly. Of course you need multitasking OS for
that (MiNT or Magic) and an AVSERVER (Thing or Jinnee). GemMOD came
in two flavours:

  GemMOD:

GemMOD is full GEM application with GUI dialogs in windows. Works
in MiNT/Magic/TOS (not tested in Geneva). GemMOD commands are self
explanatory so should be easy to use.

  mMOD:

mMOD is acronym for MicroMOD. Basicaly mMOD is almost identical to
GemMOD, but no GEM dialogs are used. All commands can be issued via
menu bar or keyboard shortcuts. mMOD is smaller as GemMOD, it loads
faster, and don't display anything, just play music. Some essential
info is available via menu bar as well. mMOD still supports all
protocols, same as GemMOD. GemMOD looks like shit in STlow or any
double line resolution ( 640*240 for example ) and that was anoter
reason to make mMOD.

 NOTE!

When GemMOD stumbles on unrecognized module format, it loads the
module, but does >NOT< play it! In TYPE: field it display message:
UNRECOGNIZED!:(type). If you recognize type or feel lucky, u may
try to play the module. In most case all will be okay, since usualy
it is down to corrupted data etxc... If not GemMOD will crash!

  There are still some problems:

 - Button highlightning, when loading file via AVSERVER, don't work
so either wrong buttons are highlighted or none...

 - GemMOD or mMOD must be in same directory as GEMMOD.BIN This is
not so much a problem as feature, to allow easy player updates.
Probably won't be changed in future...

 - Pause and FastWinding buttons don't work. GemMOD currently don't
support those featueres, still butons are there, just incase :)
